No one has a crystal ball to predict the workplace or the worker of the future. Much of what’s to come is not only dependent on social and political changes, but also hinged upon technological advancement and the decisions we make. However, one of the most widely discussed and anticipated is that of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
AI is already in our daily lives in some form or another, even if it’s not used in your workplace yet. But that remains only a matter of time.
For some, AI is a technology that will change and improve, rather than be a replacement for human workers. They believe that AI can effectively ‘up-skill’ workers. But what’s for certain, very few workers and workplaces will remain untouched by AI.
