Impact of Working from Home schemes on Creativity and Innovation in a post Covid-19 workplace

With lockdown restrictions gradually being eased, the challenge for leaders in the professional services industry, is to quickly evaluate and identify effective and workable solutions for a successful return to buoyant business activity. The stakes are high: correct decisions will give firms a marked competitive advantage in the post-Covid-19 world. Wrong decisions at this crucial junction can have dire consequences, indeed it could lead to the end of the road for otherwise healthy and successful firms.

Firms will have to determine how best to serve their clients and therefore assess what implications WFH has on a firm’s ability to provide value to clients. In particular, it is worth reflecting on one of these implications, the impact on creativity and innovation, arguably the most important source of competitive advantage.
